Semnan
Polyethylene Company was founded on December
29, 1994 with the aim of satisfying a part of
local demands to use polyethylene pipes in order
to implement modern water supply and sewage
removal projects. Also, it was perceived that
the establishment of Semnan Polyethylene Company
would benefit the local economy and the country
in general for following reasons:

- Savings in foreign currency requirements for
imports
- Creation of jobs
The location of our plant in Semnan has the
following advantages:

Proximity to Tehran
- Good and easy access to rail and road network
- Availability of appropriate infrastructure
The
company is located in a 4000 square meter land
and building facility in Semnan Industrial Estate.
The plant and equipment were fully commissioned
and started up for trial production on 22nd
September 1999.
From
the onset, the goal of the company and its founders
has been to produce high quality products, and
by April 2000, this goal was achieved. Subsequently
on 20th April 2000, His Excellency Mr. Shafei
inaugurated the company in the presence of local
dignitaries.
At
present, the plant works round-the-clock and
employs more than 70 people including highly
qualified engineers and technicians to produce
highest quality polyethylene pipes and fittings.
It is worth pointing out that the entire process
from installation through setting into operation
and production took place by the efforts, cooperation,
and expertise of managers and all personnel
of Semnan Polyethylene Company

Quality Control
The quality control process of the plant has
been planned on the basis of National Iranian
Standards (ISIRI).
All the products of our plant pass quality tests
in all stages of production and, after completion
of tracing card in which the technical specifications,
name of operator(s) and inspector(s) and name
of the company are inserted, the product is
allowed to be stored as a finished product.
Semnan Polyethylene Company is committed to
advancing the quality control procedures. The
Quality Control Reports are sent to the Department
of General Standards and Industrial Research
of Semnan Province on a monthly basis and the
said authority has continuous supervision over
our products and production equipment to ensure
that the quality of products remain stable.
The Quality Control Department fully supervises
all measuring tools and devices, which are regularly
calibrated.
